Weathering steel plate, as the name implies, has good weather resistance. It is based on ordinary steel plate, by adding a certain proportion of copper, nickel, chromium and other alloy elements, so that a dense oxide film is formed inside the metal, thereby protecting the steel plate. This kind of steel plate not only has high corrosion resistance, but also has good wear resistance, weather resistance and welding performance. The main grades are S235J0WP, S235J2WP, S235J2W, A588grA, CortenA, CortenB, Q355NH, Q235NH, Q345NH, Q355GNH, Q295NH, Q295GNH, Q355GNHL, 09CuPCrNi-A, SPA-H, Corten steel, Cu-P.
S355J0W weathering steel plate
S355J0W is a weathering steel plate, which is an improved atmospheric corrosion resistant structural steel plate according to the EN 10025-5 standard. It is a low-alloy steel made by adding a certain amount of alloy elements to ordinary steel plates. It has good mechanical properties, welding properties, etc. The longer the time, the more obvious the corrosion resistance. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of weathering steel is 2-8 times that of ordinary carbon steel.
S355J2W weathering steel plate
S355J2W is an improved atmospheric corrosion resistant structural steel. It is a fine-grained steel that enhances the ability to resist atmospheric corrosion under ambient temperature. In order to achieve the corrosion resistance, certain specific alloy elements such as P, Cu, Cr, Ni, Mo, etc. are added to form a protective oxide layer on the metal surface under various climatic conditions. It is widely used in high-speed rail bogies, welding, bolting and riveting parts.
S235J0WP weathering steel plate
S235J0WP is a weathering steel plate, where "S" stands for structural steel, "235" represents a yield strength of 235MPa, "J0" represents the minimum impact energy at 0°C, "W" indicates that the steel is improved for atmospheric corrosion resistance, and "P" indicates that the steel is classified in a larger phosphorus content (only when the steel is S355).

S235J2WP weathering steel plate
235J2WP weathering steel plate is a low-alloy high-strength structural steel plate with excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance. It is based on ordinary carbon steel and adds a certain amount of alloy elements, such as copper (Cu), phosphorus (P), chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni). The addition of these elements can promote the formation of a dense protective rust layer on the metal surface, thereby significantly improving the atmospheric corrosion resistance of the steel.
S235J2W weathering steel plate
S235J2W weathering steel plate is a steel with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance, which complies with European standard EN 10025-5. This steel contains specific alloy components, such as copper and nickel, which can improve its corrosion resistance. The weathering resistance of S235J2W is 2 to 8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and the paintability is 1.5 to 10 times that of ordinary carbon steel. It can be used to manufacture steel structures such as vehicles, bridges, towers, containers, etc.
A588grA weathering steel plate
A588GrA weathering steel plate is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel with excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance. This steel improves its corrosion resistance by forming a protective layer on the surface of the metal matrix. It is mainly used in the manufacture of steel structures exposed to the atmosphere for a long time, such as railways, vehicles, bridges, towers, containers, etc.
